Fatima Kizilboga, Le Figaro (in French) | June 24, 2010

The recent rapprochement between Teheran and Ankara is manifesting itself in an increase of their activities against the Kurds in the North of Iraq. ++ “The Kurdish Regional Government has a hard time making its calls for calm and more respect of its territorial integrity heard.” ++ The Kurds suspect that Iran wants to promote a Shiite political takeover in Baghdad. ++ “A dangerous game of arm wrestling” is playing out in the country only weeks prior to the withdrawal of American troops. ++ "Dark clouds" hang over the future of Iraq.
