Obama Knows: Cameron Is More than Just Sizzle

Obama said to favour Brown’s substance over David Cameron’s ‘sizzle’ although the White House denies the claims. ++ The private meeting between Obama and Cameron earlier this year shows how important the President sees ties with the British opposition. ++ “Cameron's growth on the job has enabled Obama to stamp him ‘substantive’.” ++ US priorities matched by Cameron’s willingness "to honour all of Britain's commitments in Afghanistan", aligning the Conservatives with the policy priorities the US has for the ‘special relationship’.
