Turkey and Israel at a Tipping Point

“The Armenian genocide must never ever be allowed to become a political football for selective use by two erstwhile allies to sort out their relations and the contents of their closets.” ++ The hypocritical Turkish reaction to the Israeli attack on the flotilla bound for Gaza, and the selective denial of their history reveals the true nature of Turkey’s leaders, to pursue aggrandizement at the expense of regional peacemaking. ++ The people of Turkey would do well to “rein in, and then reverse, their two-talking thrill-seekers.”
