US Should Help Israel if it Strikes Iran

John R. Bolton, American Enterprise Institute | July 15, 2008

The situation in the Middle East is past the point when sanctions and diplomatic talks can still make a difference. ++ The Islamic Republic is not going to yield, it is simply playing for time while trying to produce deliverable nuclear weapons. ++ Instead of insisting on the measures which apparently do not work, the US should consider helping Israel if it decides to strike Iran or at least not hinder its efforts. ++ As it will get the blame for any military action anyway, the US might as well help make it as successful as possible.
