Welcoming India to the Nuclear Club
Gideon Rachman, Financial Times | September 23, 2008
India and the US are celebrating their new nuclear deal this week. ++ Critics fear an unraveling of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. ++ Notwithstanding, India will be one of the great world powers and there is an unfortunate, yet undeniable link between power and nuclear weapons. ++ Although it may be hypocritical to permit India and sanction Iran, India is a status quo power and a settled and secular democracy; Iran is not. ++ If Bush thinks he is making a pro-American India, he is wrong, but he is still doing the right thing.

Given the Indian state's own status as a banana republic that is slightly more than Phillipines vis-a-vis its stature and nature as a state that is secular - it barely counts or should count even as a state. The overtures to India by the United States merely underscores the awareness within the US administration of the weakening status of the United States and before long there shall be 2025-2050 when the US would count itself fortunate to even count as a power that generates even a cursory acknowledgement with respect.
You have certain US powers and forces for that certain downfall: Indians and Indian Americans who, in contradistinction to Indians of the Indic civilization, are largely Indian christians and who are sodomising the United States rather well. The price of the US being a Christian state that pretends to be secular and it shall not be before long when it perhaps learns to say Allah Hoo Akbar with equal reverence. May that day come soon.
But then, India merely underscores the growing recognitiuon by the two states that are rotting surely and India dragging the US along its own status of a banana republic.
Of course, one thankfully has Pakistan as India's neighbour to take care of Indian assumptions to power vis-a-vis private citizens and their private matters that does not include the church or the temple or the mosque.
The propping of a prostitute and the encouragement of the crime-terror-prostitution network - even if known as the New York underground and being the Congress I of India's feet soldiers in the US with India's assumptions of being a proxy Roman Catholic Church state/satellite does not augur well for anyone, including the US.
But then it remains to be seen if the world would not be a world with secular states ruling it and setting systemic imperatives rather than thinly disguised religious fanatical states like the US and India. But then elites of such states usually show very little signs of the lessons of history as well as human history itself.
Thankfully for the world, the religious bigots usually have enough competition, including the crime-terror-prostitution networks and so the healthy states and societies can look forward to their continued existences and work towards ensuring their security and prominence in the world and in determing systemic imperatives. Whether the temple or the mosque or the church - those states that know that they remain relegated to the private sphere with no influence upon the state and its functioning as well as in the socialization process of its populace - shall continue to take cognizance and work towards the graeter security fo humankind from its medieval morass.
The India of today and the US merely symbolise two rotten states that seeks to increase their tribes! Hence amen to 2035-2050!
