World Bank Continues To Support State Sponsors of Terrorism

Congressman Mark Kirk (R-Illinois) reveals in the Washington Post that hundreds of millions of dollars are pouring into Iran through the World Bank, despite UNSC and IAEA conclusions that Iran has ignored its obligations under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. It appears that there is a major disconnect between multilateral organizations over how to jointly confront the pressing issues presented by Iran. Kirk calls for the World Bank to update its stance towards Iran to match current realities and policies of the US and European governments, so that a coordinated transatlantic approach can be executed by the West.
