US Foreign Office Favors Women's Progress

Hilary Clinton, Secretary of State | April 1, 2010

Fifteen years after the Fourth UN Conference on Women, the condition of women worldwide has greatly improved: more and more girls go to school, and the equality between men and women is increasingly being recognised jurisdictionally. ++ Yet, more efforts have to be made. ++ "The status of the world's women is not only a matter of morality and justice. ++ It is also a political, economic and social imperative. " ++ Promoting and implementing concrete advancement of woman should be a top priority for American foreign policy.

Women making an entry into men’s world would obviously have many difficulties at least at the beginning since in men’s world not only the groundwork are set by men but also most of the rules of the professional practices.

I think therefore it is imperative for the success of women in their professional adventures in the men’s world to undergo some “special training” about intricasies of day-to-day practices in the organizations and companies.

It is very important for the mankind to enable women to be successful in their Professional life for a better & faster advancement in the 21st century onward. This happens to be so because about ½ the humanity are females and there has been continually growing demand and opportunities for females almost at the full spectrum of employment scenery.

The main reason for my comment on this topic is to emphasize the need for “special training” needed to be provided for women on “succeeding in men’s world” in the form of lectures, seminars, short courses, etc. in their work settings…

Briefly stated I consider the success of women in work settings as a very important component of the success of mankind in the future centuries if we can successfully evade some types of disastrous calamities.

I do think as well the greater presence of feminine tendersness in the world of politics, diplomacy & bureaucracy may also contribute further to the World Peace.

I'd rather they just favored talent. They need to start by putting in a real statecraft thinker as the Secretary of State, not some poitician who got where she is through marriage, and who takes passive-aggressive jabs at the president in anticipation of challenging him for the democratic party nomination for the presidential election.
